What to do if Panasonic KX-TA624 PBX extension does not operate?
    • C
      Christine MorrisAug 19, 2025
If an extension on your Panasonic PBX system isn't working, there could be several reasons. First, it could be a problem with the printed circuit board (Extension Card); try exchanging it with another one. Second, there might be an issue with the connection between the system and the extension; test the extension port with a short telephone cord. Third, check if a telephone with an A-A1 relay is connected and set the A-A1 relay switch to the “OUT” or “OFF” position. Finally, the extension itself might be faulty; try plugging it into a known working port to test it.

Panasonic KX-TA624: Why can't SLT user make a call?
    • J
      Jamie ShermanSep 12, 2025
If a tone type single line telephone (SLT) user cannot make a call on your Panasonic PBX, there may be something wrong with a DTMF receiver. First, select “Enable” for DTMF receiver 1 and “Disable” for DTMF receiver 2 in program [107]. Then, make a call using a tone type SLT connected to one of extension jacks 01 – 08. If you still cannot make the call, the problem may have been caused by DTMF receiver 1. If the call can be made, try DTMF receiver 2. Select “Disable” for DTMF receiver 1 and “Enable” for DTMF receiver 2 in program [107], and make another call. If you cannot make the call, the problem may have been caused by DTMF receiver 2. If the call can be made, check the other four DTMF receivers in the same way, referring to program [107].
