    • N
      Nathan PattersonSep 7, 2025
If none of the operations work when using your Panasonic proprietary telephone, even when following the manual's instructions, it might be because the Intercom line was not seized. The seized line, when going off-hook, may have been changed by personal setting.

If your Panasonic Telephone isn't responding when you press the buttons, it could be locked. You need to unlock your telephone. If that's not the issue, your telephone might be connected to an eXtra Device Port, requiring system programming. In this case, you should consult your dealer.

What to do if extensions (except IP-PT/ SIP Extension) do not operate on my Panasonic Telephone?
    • M
      Michael BaldwinAug 29, 2025
If extensions (excluding IP-PT/SIP Extensions) do not operate on your Panasonic Telephone, first check the connection between the PBX and the extension by plugging the extension into the same extension port using a short telephone cord. If it works, repair the original connection. If it still doesn't work, plug the extension into another working extension port; if it fails, replace the extension. Also, ensure that a 2-wire cord is used and that the A-A1 relay switch of the telephone is in the "OUT" or "OFF" position. If none of these steps resolve the issue, the extension card may be malfunctioning and require replacement.
