Soft Buttons and Soft Button Icons
By pressing a soft button (S1 to S4), you can access the function displayed directly above it.

In this manual, soft buttons are referred to by their corresponding icons.
In the example here, "Press
", "Press
", or "Press " would indicate pressing S1, S2, or S3,
respectively.
Icon Description
Access the user setting menus (Page 42).
Access the call log (Page 30).
Access the phonebook (Page 40).
Access the setup menus (Page 79).
Erase the number or character above the cursor (Page 29).
Search for a phonebook entry (Page 29).
Edit a call log or phonebook entry (Page 30, Page 40).
Access the system features of the PBX (System Feature Access).
Note
• You can access the system features only if KX-UT113/KX-UT123/
KX-UT133/KX-UT136 is connected to a KX-NS1000
PBX. For details,
refer to the documentation of the KX-NS1000.
Confirm a transfer operation (Page 34).
Begin installation of a firmware update (Page 52).
Save or confirm the information shown on the display.

• You can also use the physical ENTER button to perform the same
operation as this soft button.
For KX-UT113/KX-UT123 only, if multiple lines are available at your unit, select
the line to use to make a call (Page 29
