GPS/Sensor
∫ Using a card reader/writer (commercially available)
Preparation:
Close all other running applications.
Insert the card into the unit.

Select [Assist Data] on the [GPS/Sensor] menu, and then press [MENU/
SET].

Press 3/4 to select [Update], and then press [MENU/SET].

Press 3/4 to select [SD card], and then press [MENU/SET].
• The “GPS Assist Tool” is copied to the card.

Turn this unit off and remove the card.

Insert the card into the card reader/writer (commercially available) that is
connected to the PC.

Launch the “GPS Assist Tool” with the PC.
For Windows:
Double-click [GPSASIST.EXE] stored in the [AD_LUMIX] folder of the card.
For Mac:
1 Double-click [GPSASIST.DMG] stored in the [AD_LUMIX] folder of the card.
2 Double-click [GPSASIST].

Click [Update] on the screen of the PC.
• Proceed with the steps according to messages appearing on the PC.
When the update is complete, click [Exit].
• Do not disconnect the unit from the PC until the data has been updated.

Remove the card.

Insert the card into this unit and turn the unit on.
• The GPS assist data of this unit is updated.
