27 Troubleshooting
Start lines of characters are distorted
Cause:
The timing of the lasing process does not match the line speed.
Remedy:
Increase the value for overrun correction.
Characters are distorted or character pitch is unstable
Cause:
The set moving direction is wrong.
Remedy:
Adjust the moving direction to match the operation of the laser
marking system.
Check the setting of the laser head direction in the system settings.
Cause:
The speed changes at a conveyor junction.
Remedy:
If conveyors are coupled, avoid marking near conveyor junctions.
Cause:
The actual speed and the preset speed for feeding workpieces are
different due to slippage of workpieces.
Remedy:
Remove the cause of workpiece slippage.
Cause:
Positional misalignment is likely to occur due to meandering motion of
the conveyor.
Remedy:
Make sure that the position of the workpiece is stable.
Cause:
The moving speed of the conveyor is not stable.
Remedy:
Check the conveyor and remove the cause of the speed change.
Use an encoder to feedback speed changes and to stabilize the
speed.
