Removing/attaching the projection lens
Removing and attaching methods of the projection lens are same for both standard zoom lenses and optional
lenses.
Move the lens position to the home position before replacing or removing the projection lens. (x page 69)
Attention
f Replace the projection lens after turning off the projector.
f Do not touch the electric contacts of the projection lens. Dust or dirt may cause poor contact.
f Do not touch the surface of the projection lens with your bare hands.
f Before attaching the projection lens, remove the lens cover attached to the projection lens.
f Before attaching the projection lens, remove the lens hole cover (only model with the lens sold separately) and the lens cover attached to
the projection lens.
f Panasonic takes no responsibility for any damage or malfunction of the product resulting from the use of projection lenses which are not
manufactured by Panasonic. Always use the standard zoom lens supplied with the projector or the specied projection lens.
Removing the projection lens
Remove the projection lens using the following procedure.

Projection lens
1) Slide the top slide cover. (Fig. 1)
f Turn the top slide cover xing screw (x 1) counterclockwise until it turns freely using a Philipps screwdriver,
and slowly slide the top slide cover.
2) While pressing the lens release lever, turn the projection lens counterclockwise to the end, and
remove the projection lens. (Fig. 2)
Attention
f Store the removed projection lens where it will be free from vibration and impact.
