Disconnect
the
FM
indoor
antenna
if
an
FM
outdoor
antenna
is
installed.

Remove
a
piece
of
the
outer
vinyl
insulator.

Twist
the
shield
braid.

core

An
outdoor
antenna
should
be
installed
by
a
qualified
technician
only.

Connect
the
outdoor
antenna
without
removing
the
AM
loop
antenna.
Run
5
to
12
m
of
vinyl-covered
wire
horizontally
along
a
window
or
other
convenient
location.
When
the
unit
is
not
in
use,
disconnect
the
outdoor
antenna
to
prevent
possible
damage
that
may
be
caused
by
lightning.
Never
use
an
outdoor
antenna
during
an
electrical
storm.
External
unit
connections
•Turn
off
all
units
before
making
connections.
•Refer
to
the
manual
of
the
other
unit
for
details.

analogue
equipment

The
example
shows
how
to
connect
a
cassette
tape
deck
to
the
AUX/
LINE
IN
and
LINE
OUT
terminals.
A
record
player
with
a
built-in
phono
equalizer
can
be
connected
to
the
AUX/LINE
IN
terminals.
When
connecting
a
record
player
other
than
this
type,
consult
your
audio
dealer.
