Operation / 使用
Using alkaline ion water, acidic water or purified water

Set the bypass selector
to Purified.

Press the water quality
selector button
corresponding to the
type of water required.
OThe buzzer beeps, and the
water quality indicator
lamp lights.

Open the faucet.
OThe water quality
indicator lamp blinks.

Start using the Alkaline Ionizer.
OThe water quality indicator lamp lights, and the buzzer
beeps three times, indicating that the Alkaline Ionizer is
now ready to be used. While Alkaline or acidic water is
selected, the generating lamp lights.
While acidic water is selected, the warning buzzer
(acidic buzzer) continues to beep to warn you not to
drink the water by mistake.
While alkaline ion water is selected
Acidic water comes out of the drain hose.
While purified water is selected
Purified water comes out of the
drain hose (do not drink this
water).
While acidic water is selected
Alkaline ion water comes out of
the drain hose (do not drink
this water).
Continue button
This button is useful when continuing to use the Alkaline Ionizer
to produce the same water quality.
OWhen washing rice
OWhen filling glasses with water and
drinking more than one glass of water, etc.
Use it:
After pressing the selector button (
Alkaline
or
Purified
Water
) for the water quality to be used, press
.
(The Continue lamp lights.)
While the lamp is lit, turn off the faucet, and then turn it back on.
This will make it possible to use the Alkaline Ionizer immediately.
O The Continue button cannot be used with acidic water.
O The Continue lamp will go off:
• When the Continue button is pressed again
When Alkaline” has been switched to “Purified Water” or “Acidic
Water
When Purified Water” has been switched to another water quality
When 10 minutes have elapsed after the faucet was turned off.
When the faucet is turned off
after use:
O When acidic water has been used,
the water quality is automatically
returned to purified water.
O Water will continue to come out of
the drain hose for about 30 seconds
(because the water inside the
Alkaline Ionizer is draining).
Note
O You can collect the water that comes
out from the drain hose while the
Alkaline Ionizer is being used and
use it to do the dishes or laundry or
fill the bathtub.
Do not use it to rinse dishes or clothes.
When using a receptacle to collect
water, ensure that the water level in
the receptacle does not rise above
the bottom of the Alkaline Ionizer.
O Even after the faucet has been
turned off, a small amount of water
will continue to come out of the main
spout. This is normal and does not
indicate any trouble.
Important
O If the Alkaline Ionizer has not been
used for more than 24 hours, a
continuous beep will sound when
alkaline ion water or purified water
passes through the unit, and the
automatic electrode cleaning is
started (this will last for about
15 seconds).
During this period, do not use the
water which comes out of the
main spout.

When acidic water is used
again, the buzzer will beep.
To turn off the acidic buzzer
Select one of the following settings. (The settings cannot be
selected while water is passing through the unit.)
Setting Operation
Releasing the acidic
buzzer from the ON
status
Press
for about 3 seconds until a
long beep is heard.
Setting the acidic
buzzer to ON
Press
for about 3 seconds until four
short beeps are heard in succession.
