Remove the angle adjustment cover
After determining the installation angle of the camera, remove the angle adjustment cover. Make
sure the camera is secured to the camera mount bracket, and place the sticker (accessory) over
the tripod screw hole on which the hook of the angle adjustment cover was put.
Secure the safety wire on the ceiling or wall
Secure the safety wire to the foundation part of the construction or a part with adequate strength
(minimum pull-out strength 196 N {44.06 lbf}).
Prepare the fixing screw according to the material of the area where the safety wire is to be fixed.
For mounting on ceiling, use the safety wire (accessory), washer (accessory) and spring washer
(accessory). For mounting on wall, use a safety wire kit (locally procured).
Important:
 • Thesafetywireshallbeadjustedtoremoveslack.
 • Besuretoinstallthesafetywiretopreventafallofthecameraresultingininjuryoraccidentsin
case the camera comes off.
 • Topreventthemountingstrengthfrombecominglower,donotusewoodenscrewstosecure
the safety wire.
