SYSTEM OPERATION
To authorize owner and then disable engine blocking, immobilizer tag
should be carried. When the ignition is being switched on, note the sound
notification of the tag detection. If there is no notification, engine can be
blocked. Check the immobilizer tag, so absence of sound notification can
be caused by discharged battery, tag failure, a temporary loss of signal with
the base unit. In the case of emergency use the spare tag or valet mode for
switching off immobilizer tag (see page 13). When leaving the car, do not
place the tag inside or near the car even if its battery is discharged. For a
comfortable fit use the tag case (see ‘System set’, page 4).
Additional algorithms of tag authorization (Antihijack, Antihijack+) are
used to prevent car theft attempts and hijacking and to enhance the owner’s
safety. Algorithms can be enabled via the mobile app.
