Setting Voice search
1 Tap Apps from the Home Screen and tap Settings > Language &
input > Voice Search.
2 Tap Language, select and tap a language that will be used for the
input language.
3 Tap SafeSearch, and tap Off, Moderate or Strict for filtering input
language.
4 Tap Block offensive words to hide recognized offensive voice results.
It is selected by default.
Setting output options
1 Tap Apps from the Home Screen and tap Settings > Language &
input > Text-to-speech output.
2 Tap
next to Google Text-to-speech, and adjust settings.
3 Tap Speech rate, and select and tap an option.
4 Tap Listen to an example to check an example.
Setting pointer speed
1 Tap Apps from the Home Screen and tap Settings > Language &
input > Pointer speed.
2 Adjust the pointer speed using the control bar and tap OK.
Backing up and restoring data
1 Tap Apps from the Home Screen and tap Settings > Backup &
reset.
2 Tap Back up my data to back up your data.
3 Tap Backup account and tap an account to keep your data. Tap Add
account to add a new account, and follow the instructions.
4 Tap Automatic restore to restore backed-up data for an application.
5 Tap Factory data reset > Reset phone > Erase everything to erase all
data from the phone and follow the instructions.

Allowing date and time to be set automatically
1 Tap Apps from the Home Screen and tap Settings > Date & time.
2 Tap Automatic date & time.
Note Set date, Select time zone and Set time will not work if you
tap Automatic date & time.
