To change the attenuation of the connected amplifier, the Host PC sends the following
Request String: (refer to Table 11-5)
The Compact Outdoor SSPA responds with the following Response String:

1 AA Frame Sync Byte 1
2 55 Frame Sync Byte 2
3 5 Destination Address of Compact Outdoor SSPA
4 A Source Address of PC sending Request String
5 0 Protocol Version Compatibility Field must always be 0
6 6F Request ID byte is set by originator, will be echoed back by respondent
7 0 Command “Set request” designator
8 0 Data tag “0” indicates access to SSPA Settings
9 5 Data address 5 indicates access to SSPA attenuation
10 1 Data length is 1 byte
11 C8 Data 200 - 20.0 dB x 10 attenuation
12 4C Arithmetic checksum of bytes 3 through 11
