1.7.b Dispose of the pleated breather according to pharmacy policy.
Note You will replace the pleated breather you removed here with a
new one later in the procedure. A new pleated breather is
included in the kit.
1.8 Remove the foam breather:
1.8.a If there is tape securing the nozzle cover to the cell, remove the tape
and dispose of it according to pharmacy policy.
Note There may be two pieces of tape, one on each side of the nozzle.
Step 1.8.a
1.8.b Hold the cell upright with its side facing you and the nozzle pointed
toward your dominant hand (e.g., if you are right-handed, hold the cell
in your left hand with the nozzle pointed to the right).
1.8.c Locate the plastic “grid” that forms the top of the nozzle cover.
