Section 11 Trouble Shooting Guide
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
1. Blown control fuse Replace Fuse
2. No power Apply correct power
3. Solid state controller inoperative Replace controller
1. Control air shutoff Open Valve
2. Dryer in PowerLoc mode See Page 9 - 10
3. Dryer in CycleLoc mode See Page 9 - 10
4. Dryer in ProPurge mode See Page 9 - 10
5. Dryer not in 100% load cycle Check setting
Failure to Switch
1. Time delay setting too short Adjust properly (Failure to Switch option only!)

Outlet Dewpoint
1. Dryer not cycling See dryer not operating
2. Incorrect purge rate Adjust purge flow
6. Back pressure regenerating tank See below
7. Leaking bypass Remedy
Moisture Downstream See "Outlet Dewpoint High"
1. Purge set too high. Check specifications and adjust
2. Repressurization solenoid leaking Repair or replace
3. Inlet valve leaking or not functioning Repair or replace
5. Defective controller Repair or replace
Dryer Not Operating (No
Lights On)
Dryer Not Operating (Lights On,
Dryer does not switch)
Adjust inlet flow/pressure/temperature to
within specified operating parameters. High
flow, low pressure or high temperature will all
adversely effect the dryer performance.
3. Capacity of dryer being exceeded
Check water level in separators, receivers,
pre-filters and operation or associated Y-
strainers and auto drains. Check condition of
filter elements of check differential pressure
gauges.
4. Liquid water present at dryer inlet
5. Desiccant worn out, contaminated or
insufficient quantity
Replace of top off
8. Undried air from another source
mixing downstream of dryer
Remedy
4. Leaking or inoperative control
solenoid
Repair or replace
Excessive Air Loss on
Regenerating Tower
