green LED is blinking, pressing PB2 will decrement the set point
by 1°F. Do not press any pushbutton for 5 to 10 seconds or until the
green LED stops blinking. The controller will use the last display
for the leaving liquid temperature set point and will go back to
normal operation.
REMOTE PANEL DISPLAY
A remote panel display is available that will allow access to all the param-
eters that the controller uses. The Remote Panel Display can be used as a
set point tool in production, a diagnostic tool in the field or as a permanent
readout device on the controller. A five foot cable is included.

POSN Number of steps the electric expansion valve is open
SUPH Superheat read by controller
LQTP Temperature read by the leaving liquid temperature sensor (-50
to 102°F.)
PRES Pressure read by the transducer (0-153 psi absolute or gauge)
TOUT Temperature read by the suction temperature sensor
(-50 to 102°F.)
TSAT Saturated Temp. Based on suction pressure and refrigerant
selected

LARG if the EEV used is an SEI-50 or larger. SMAL if the
EEV used is smaller than an SEI-30. MEDM if the EEV used is
a SEI-30.
SHSP Superheat set point (5 to 30°F.)
LQSP LeavingliquidTemperaturesetpoint(-40to100°F)
GAIN Proportional gain set point. Number of steps per degree that
liquid temperature is above or below its set point (0 to 255 steps
perdegree).Defaultis44forLARGsetting,22forMEDMset-
ting,and10forSMALsetting.
INTG Integral set point. Number of seconds the controller waits to
update the reference valve position. (1 to 120 seconds). Default
is 50 seconds.
DERI Derivative set point. Number of steps the controller opens or
closes the valve based on the rate the leaving liquid temperature
is changing (0 to 255 seconds). Default is 20.
Pressing ENTER will toggle display between one of the displays
described above and the numeric value read for that particular display.
Pressing UP will scroll through the menu from POSN to SUPH, etc.
Pressing DOWN will scroll through the menu the opposite way.
POSN MODE
Press and hold UP button and ENTER button for 5 seconds to put the
valve in manual valve position. The number of steps open will be dis-
playedandthe1000’sdigitwillblink.
Pressing the UP button will open the valve 1000 steps.
Pressing the DOWN button will close the valve 1000 steps.
Pressing the ENTER button will change the flashing digit from 1000’s
digittothe100’sdigit.
Pressing the UP button will open the valve 100 steps.
Pressing the DOWN button will close the valve 100 steps.
Pressing the ENTERbuttonwillchangetheflashingdigitfrom100’sdigit
tothe10’sdigit.
Pressing the UP button will open the valve 10 steps.
Pressing the DOWN button will close the valve 10 steps.
Pressing the ENTERbuttonwillchangetheflashingdigitfrom10’sdigit
tothe1’sdigit.
Pressing the UP button will open the valve 1 step.
Pressing the DOWN button will close the valve 1 step.
Pressing the ENTERbuttonwillchangetheflashingdigitfrom1’sdigit
tothe1000’sdigit.
Press and hold UP button and ENTER button for 5 seconds will put the
controllerinnormalcontrol.Thedigitswillstopblinking.
SHSP MODE
Press and hold UP button and ENTER button for 5 seconds to enable the
superheatsetpointtobechanged.Thesetpointisdisplayedandthe100’s
digitwillblink.
Pressing the ENTERbuttonwillchangetheflashingdigitfrom100’sdigit
tothe10’sdigit.
Pressing the UP button will increase the set point by 10 degrees.
Pressing the DOWN button will decrease the set point by 10 degrees.
Pressing the ENTERbuttonwillchangetheflashingdigitfrom10’sdigit
tothe1’sdigit.
Pressing the UP button will increase the set point by 1 degree.
Pressing the DOWN button will decrease the set point by 1 degree.

setpoint.Thedigitswillstopblinking.
LQSP MODE
Press and hold UP button and ENTER button for 5 seconds to enable
the leaving liquid temperature set point to be changed. The set point is
displayedandthe100’sdigitwillblink.
Pressing the UP button will increase the set point by 100 degrees.
Pressing the DOWN button will decrease the set point by 100 degrees.
Pressing the ENTERbuttonwillchangetheflashingdigitfrom100’sdigit
tothe10’sdigit.
Pressing the UP button will increase the set point by 10 degrees.
Pressing the DOWN button will decrease the set point by 10 degrees.
Pressing the ENTERbuttonwillchangetheflashingdigitfrom10’sdigit
tothe1’sdigit.
Pressing the UP button will increase the set point by 1 degree.
Pressing the DOWN button will decrease the set point by 1 degree.
