The system is capable of operating in a stand-alone mode during network disconnections, saving off-line data to be sent to the Central Management Server once the network is reconnected.

Function Description:

The BAPS208 provides a user-friendly interface through a color TFT-LCD display and a multimedia speaker. When a user is detected by a built-in infrared sensor, both a display and a vocal message prompt the user to insert a barcode ticket for parking fee calculation. The required payment amount is then shown on the screen. The station accepts both coins and banknotes and provides change if needed. Upon successful payment, a new barcode with encoded payment information is printed on the same ticket, which is then returned to the driver for exit validation.

Exterior Components:

Display Screen Introduction:

The display screen shows:

The name of the parking facility.
System date/time, with a rotating slash bar indicating normal operation.
A message line providing display and voice messages for current process status or operation instructions.
Device status lights (5 small round lights at the top right corner): Green indicates good status, red indicates a non-functioning device. From left to right, these lights indicate the status of the receipt printer, bill validator, card reader, connection to the server station, and a fifth light currently not in use.
Function buttons: Provide text descriptions for options, corresponding to physical buttons next to the display screen.

Usage Features:

Power On Procedure: Involves opening the cabinet, switching on the AC circuit breaker, waiting for the IPC to boot and devices to activate, and then the system displays the "Please Insert Ticket" idle page.
Shut Down Procedure: For touch screen systems, touching the top-left corner of the screen exits the system program. For non-touch screen systems, a mouse connected to the IPC is used. This is followed by the standard Windows shutdown procedure. A minute's wait after monitor shutdown is required before switching off the main circuit breaker to allow data read/write completion.
Hourly Parking Payment: Users insert a parking ticket, the system calculates the fee, displays the amount due, and accepts payment via banknotes or coins. Change is dispensed, and a payment-confirmed ticket is returned for exit validation. If insufficient change is available, a change chit is printed.
Season Card Operation: Users insert a season card, and the system displays options for "Renew" (optional feature for extending validity) or "Payment" (for hourly parking if the allowed season parking time is exceeded). A "Cancel" option is also available.
Season Card Renewal (Optional): Allows users to extend their season card validity by 1, 2, or 3 months, followed by payment.
Hourly Payment with Season Cards: If a season card user exceeds their allowed parking time, they can pay the hourly parking fee through the station.

Maintenance Features:

All maintenance operations require staff card login with the correct password. Incorrect password attempts trigger an alarm and a message to the server. Opening the cabinet door without proper login also activates an alarm.

Login to Maintenance Page: Insert a valid staff card, which is then returned. The system switches to a password input page. After entering the correct password, the user accesses Maintenance Page (1).
Navigation: Users can switch between Maintenance Page (1), (2), and (3) using "Other Functions" buttons.
Maintenance Page (1) - Overview:

Maintenance Page (2) - Testing and Replenishment:

Coin Testing: Users insert coins into the coin inlet to test the validator. Accepted coins are counted by denomination. A "Return Coins" button returns all accepted coins, and an "End" button returns to Maintenance Page (2).
Bill Testing: Users insert bills into the bill validator inlet to test. Accepted bills are counted by denomination, and failed validations are recorded. A "Return Bills" button returns all accepted bills, and an "End" button returns to Maintenance Page (2).
Replenish Change Coins:
- [Set actual to safety]: Resets the actual coin count to a system-configured safety quantity for all hoppers.
- [Actual coin number]: Displays the current count of coins in each hopper.

Revenue Settlement:

- Total Revenue: Displays total revenue from bills and coins since the last settlement.
- Number of coins (denomination): Indicates coins in each hopper.
- Amount of bills (denomination): Indicates bills in the bill validator.
- Procedure: Coins are discharged sequentially from hoppers. After coin discharge, the thermal printer prints an account settlement receipt. For bill collection, the bill validator security box is unlocked, the bill cassette detached, and a bill settlement receipt is printed. Bills are then removed from the cassette. It's crucial not to remove the bill cassette before receipt printing or coin discharge to ensure accurate bill data.
Bill Dispenser Operation (Optional):

Install Paper Roll on Thermal Printer: Involves lifting the latch knob of the printer's sliding base panel, pulling out the panel, removing the old roll, installing a new roll with the correct feeding direction, and inserting the paper front lead into the printer head inlet. The printer automatically draws in the paper, cuts the protruded section, and turns off the "out of paper" LED.

Solutions to Frequent Encountered Problems:

Ticket (card) cannot be read: Retrieve the ticket, ensure it's valid and in normal condition.
Banknote not accepted and backed out: Retrieve the banknote, flatten it, and try inserting it with a different side or direction.
Coin not accepted and dropped to outlet box: Old or fake coins may be rejected. Try inserting other coins.
Coin(s) not dispensed for change: If hoppers are not empty but no coins are dispensed, a change chit should be issued. Check for blocked coins.
Banknote(s) not dispensed for change: If the banknote dispenser is not empty but no banknotes are dispensed, a change chit should be issued. Check for blocked banknotes.
Receipt not printed: Push the [Feed] button on the thermal printer to check if paper is feeding normally.
