INSTALLATION KIT INSTRUCTIONS
Installing the IntelliChem Tank with Pump (P/N 522472 & 522473)
1. Find a suitable location to secure the tank to the equipment pad. The
tank needs to be within 10’ of the IntelliChem Controller, 10’ of the return
plumbing, and away from equipment that may be damaged by the chemical
or vapor.
2. Secure the tank to the equipment pad with four bolts.
3. Cut off 1-2’ of tubing and connect the black suction fitting of the tank to the
inlet (right) of the pump. See Figure 1. Do not overtighten the nuts.
4. Install the injection fitting in the return plumbing, after all equipment.
5. Use the remaining tubing to connect the outlet (left) of the pump to the
injection fitting. Note: Do not overtighten the nuts.

Upgrading a Chemical Container with Pump Kit,
Using P/N 522474
1. Be sure the Chemical Container is secured to the equipment pad, and in a
suitable location within 10’ of the IntelliChem Controller.
2. Remove the four screws and block-off plate.
3. Install the motor shroud with four screws. See Figure 1.
4. Mount the pump on the motor shroud with four screws. See Figure 1.
5. Cut off 1-2’ of tubing and connect the black suction fitting of the tank to the
inlet (right) of the pump. See Figure 1. Note: Do not overtighten the nuts.
6. Install the injection fitting in the return plumbing, after all equipment.
7. Use the remaining tubing to connect the outlet (left) of the pump to the
injection fitting. Note: Do not overtighten the nuts.

Secure Tank to Equipment Pad

Find a suitable location and secure the tank to the equipment pad with four bolts.

Connect Suction Tubing

Cut tubing and connect the black suction fitting to the pump's inlet. Do not overtighten.

Install Injection Fitting

Install the injection fitting in the return plumbing after all equipment.

Connect Outlet Tubing

Connect the remaining tubing from the pump's outlet to the injection fitting. Do not overtighten.

Upgrading Chemical Container with Pump Kit

Prepare for Pump Installation

Ensure container is secured and remove screws and block-off plate for installation.

Mount Pump Components

Install the motor shroud and then mount the pump onto the motor shroud.

Connect Pump Tubing and Fittings

Connect suction and outlet tubing to the pump and injection fitting.

Connecting Pump to IntelliChem Controller

Route Power Cords

Route power cords from the pump(s) into the controller through strain relief fittings.

Connect Pump Power to Daughter Board

Plug pump power cords into the 'PH' and 'ORP' connectors on the 522478 daughter board.

Install and Connect Daughter Board

Install the daughter board onto terminal blocks and connect wire harnesses.

Auto Setup Sequence

Initiate Auto Setup

Press MENU to access Auto Setup and select options using arrow buttons.

Configure System Parameters

Enter hardware setup, doser pump output, water volume, filter run time, and container size.

Finalize Setup

Answer pool water balance question and verify settings for automatic control.
