PRODUCT FEATURES
Pentair series UV ltration Point of Entry System is specically designed to kill harmful
bacteria in untreated water supplies. It includes pre-ltration to ensure particulate
matter does not shield micro-organisms from the UV light.
The system reduces the chlorine taste and odor and other harmful contaminants that
may be in your water.

INSTALLATION PRECAUTIONS
The Pentair series UV ltration system is IP4 rated & can be installed outdoors or indoors.
It also must be protected from harsh environments where over-exposure to salt or
aggressive chemicals can occur.
Cold water line only.
Power supply: AC 240V / 50Hz.
Supply pressure: 210-500 kPa.
The installation of a pressure limiting valve is required if the inlet pressure exceeds
500 kPa.
Supply temperature 5 - 38°C (protect from freezing).
NOTE: For point of entry installations, an approved dual check/
backow prevention valve must be installed. Only use thread seal
tape. Do not use liquid sealant on the valves provided.
Ensure the water supply ow rate does not exceed the maximum ow rate of the
system.
Ensure the electrical power supply to the UV system is sucient, allowing for other
appliances that may connect to the circuit, for example, pump, and ensuring it is surge
protected and protected against burn outs. If in doubt, please consult a qualied
electrician.
Use unions for the inlet and outlet connections to enable easy removal and servicing.
Use sucient thread tape to ensure an adequate seal but do not overtighten
connections into the unit. To prevent strain on the unit, always support heavy inlet and
outlet pipes.
If the water being treated contains unusually high levels of dissolved solids,
particularly hard water, iron, manganese, or biological organisms. A deposit build-up
on the quartz sleeve may occur over time. Maximum recommended parameters are as
follows:
• Total iron ≤ 0.3ppm (0.3mg/L)
• Hydrogen sulde ≤ 0.05ppm (0.05mg/L)
• Solid suspended solids ≤ 10ppm (10mg/L)
• Manganese ≤ 0.05ppm (0.05mg/L)
• Hardness ≤ 180 mg/L
