INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Turn on the water supply to the unit and allow system to pressurize checking for
leaks as the system lls. Turn on a tap down stream of the unit and allow it to run
to drain for 3-4 minutes allowing the system to ush out any air.
After 3-4 minutes turn off the ushing tap and check the system for leaks.
Close and lock the top cover.
Plug in the power adaptor of the unit and turn the power on, allow two minutes for
the UV lamp to reach full intensity before starting water ow.
If the stated inlet water quality parameters are exceeded, pre-ltration is required as
water of this quality can compromise the effectiveness of the UV system. The lters and
the sleeve should be cleaned or replaced as necessary to keep them in good condition.
The system is now ready for use.
PENTAIR UV UNIT
Prior to performing any work on the UV sterilizer system, always disconnect the power supply.
The treated water will seem warm for a short period at rst ow. This is because the
UV lamp emits heat to kill bacteria. When turning on a tap, let the water run for a short
time to purge any warm water.
LAMP BALLAST OPERATION
• Press the button to display total EPS operating days.
• Press and hold button for 2-5 seconds to silence end of lamp life alarm for 7 days
(Max. 4 times)
• Press and hold button for 10 seconds to reset lamp life timer.

• Lamp Current: 0.75 - 0.85A
CAUTION: GROUND THE BALLAST CASING TO AVOID POSSIBLE HIGH

WARNING: DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY INTO ULTRAVIOLET RAYS
EMITTED FROM THE UV LAMP AS THEY WILL CAUSE SERIOUS BURNS
TO UNPROTECTED EYES.

Your system comes with two keys for your convenience.
Please store them safely as lost or misplaced keys have to be replaced
with the complete locking mechanism
10. Ensure this nal connection is secure to avoid leaks but do not overtighten.
The connection should be rm and just enough to compress the spring and
the O-ring slightly.

WARNING: IF THE POWER CORD OF THE BALLAST IS DAMAGED, THE
WHOLE BALLAST UNIT SHOULD BE REPLACED IMMEDIATELY AND BY
AN AUTHORISED SERVICE PERSONNEL.
