You can register a function on the QUICK button. The function can be
activated simply by pressing the QUICK button.
1 Press the MENU button in Capture
mode.
The [A Rec.Mode] menu appears.
2 Press the four-way controller (23) to
select [Quick button].
3 Press the four-way controller (5).
The pull-down menu appears.
4 Use the four-way controller (23) to select the function you
want to register.
5 Press the shutter release button halfway.
The camera is ready to take the picture.

Registering a Function
• For the initial setting, the Green Mode – for easy operation - is
registered.
• You can assign only one function to the QUICK button. You can
choose from the following three functions: Green Mode (p.50),
Initialize Rec. Mode (p.98), and Fn Setting (p.89).
