.04.12 Height of the feed wheel (on the PFAFF 574)
Requirement
When pressure is applied to the feed wheel 4, it should protrude from the needle plate
by tooth height (approx. 0.8 mm)
When no pressure is applied to the feed wheel 4 , it should have a vertical play of ap-
prox. 0.3 mm.

Swing out the roller presser.
Loosen screws 1 and 2 (two screws each).
Adjust drive wheel 3 according to requirement 1, taking care to see that the teeth of
drive wheel 3 and feed wheel 4 lock into each other properly.
Tighten screws 1.
Adjust guide 5 according to requirement 2 and tighten screws 2.
