can
produce
beautiful
effects
by
inserting
lace,
in
for
example,
children’s
clothing.
First,
baste
the
lace
onto
the
face
side
of
the
fabric.
Stitch
both
sides
of
the
lace
using
a
narrow
zigzag.
Cut
open
the
fabric
under
the
lace
at
the
middle
and
iron
it
over
to
the
side.
Stitch
over
both
edges
of
the
lace
with
small
and
dense
zigzag
stitches.
Cut
back
the
excess
material.

change
the
look
of
table
cloths,
napkins
or
garments
with
lace
trims.
And
this
is
how
it’s
done:
Serge
the
raw
edges.
Stitch
the
lace
onto
the
face
side
of
the
fabric
up
