What to do if my Phcbi MCO-170AIC Accessories incubator doesn't operate at all?
    • D
      Diane WilliamsAug 18, 2025
First, ensure the Phcbi Accessories incubator is properly plugged into a working power outlet. Check for any power outages or tripped circuit breakers that may be interrupting the power supply. Also, verify that the removable power supply cord is securely connected to the port located on the lower right side of the cabinet.

What to do if the chamber temperature does not match the set value in my Phcbi MCO-170AIC incubator?
    • P
      Pamela LeeAug 23, 2025
Ensure that the ambient temperature is not less than 5 °C different from the set value for the chamber temperature. Confirm that the outer door is properly closed and the inner door is also closed. Check that the incubator is not operating near any appliance that generates electromagnetic waves, as this could interfere with temperature regulation.

What to do if the CO2 gas density does not match the set value in Phcbi Accessories?
    • P
      patrickwongAug 26, 2025
Make sure the secondary pressure for the gas regulator is at the specified value of 0.03 MPa(G) ~0.1 MPa(G) (0.3 kgf/cm2(G)~1 kgf/cm2(G), 4.4 psi(G)~14.5 psi(G)). Check for any blockages in the gas tube. Verify that the duct is securely attached to the 4 points hooks. Also, ensure that the fan is properly attached and pushed all the way to the motor shaft. Avoid operating the incubator beside appliances that generate electromagnetic waves.

Why is a large quantity of CO2 gas being consumed by my Phcbi Accessories incubator?
    • M
      macdonaldpamelaAug 28, 2025
Excessive CO2 gas consumption in your Phcbi Accessories incubator may be due to frequent opening and closing of the outer and inner doors. Inspect the gas tube connectors for leaks caused by deterioration, and check for any pinhole leaks in the tubing. Consider replacing the gas tube annually. Also, verify the integrity of the inner door's packing seal and ensure the access hole is closed.

What to do if the chamber humidity does not rise in my Phcbi MCO-170AIC Accessories incubator?
    • C
      cunninghamtinaAug 31, 2025
Ensure that there is enough sterile distilled water in the humidifying pan of your Phcbi Accessories incubator.

What to do if the CO2 gas density is slow to recover in my Phcbi MCO-170AIC Accessories incubator?
    • M
      marioreillySep 2, 2025
Check if there is little gas remaining in the CO2 gas cylinder. Verify the secondary pressure for the gas regulator is at the specified value of 0.03 MPa(G) ~0.1 MPa(G) (0.3 kgf/cm2(G)~1 kgf/cm2(G), 4.4 psi(G)~14.5 psi(G)). Inspect the gas tube for blockages. Ensure the duct is securely attached to the 4 points hooks, and confirm that the fan is properly attached and pushed all the way to the motor shaft.

What to do if H2O2 decontamination cannot be performed on Phcbi MCO-170AIC?
    • Y
      ymyersSep 4, 2025
If using the MCO-170AICUV, ensure the optional MCO-HP, MCO-170HB and MCO-170EL are installed. If using the MCO-170AIC, ensure the optional MCO-170UVS, the MCO-HP, the optional MCO-170HB and the MCO-170EL are installed. Check if the UV lamp is burned out, as this will prevent H2O2 decontamination. Verify the H2O2 generator cable is properly connected, and ensure that the entire bottle of the H2O2 reagent has not been used.

What to do if CO2 gas is not being injected in Phcbi MCO-170AIC?
    • E
      Edward LongSep 7, 2025
The Phcbi Accessories incubator uses an ON-OFF method for CO2 control, injecting gas intermittently as the density in the chamber approaches the set value. Injections may pause for around 15 seconds, which is normal. Gas injection is also delayed until the CO2 sensor temperature stabilizes, approximately 1 hour after powering on or recovering from a power failure.

What to do if “Err34: H2O2 Volume” is activated during the H2O2 decontamination cycle in Phcbi MCO-170AIC?
    • M
      Martin ReedSep 9, 2025
Ensure the duct is securely attached to the 4 points hooks. Verify the fan is properly attached and pushed all the way to the motor shaft. Make sure the H2O2 generator is securely installed by setting the 2 pins into the 2 holes at the left bottom of the duct. Check if the H2O2 generator has reached the end of its life; replace it if the total operating time exceeds 5,000 hours.
