Push the lever upwards to select the “COFFEE” function.
In this position, you can brew a classic co ee by pressing the “ ” but-
ton.
Note:
If a classic co ee is selected with the lever in the wrong position these
icons will be displayed, reminding you to set the lever to the correct posi-
tion within 30 seconds to complete brewing.
If the level is not rotated to the correct position within the speci ed time,
the machine will not brew the selected co ee.
Saeco Adapting System
Co ee is a natural product and its characteristics may change according to
its origin, blend and roast. The machine is equipped with a self-adjusting
system that allows the use of all types of co ee beans available on the
market, except for raw, caramelized and avoured co ee beans.
The machine automatically adjusts itself after brewing several cups of cof-
fee to optimize co ee extraction.
