ADJUSTMENTS
The machine allows for certain adjustments so that you can brew the best
tasting co ee possible.
Co eeSwitch - “ESPRESSO” or “COFFEE” Selection Lever
Thanks to the innovative Co eeSwitch technology, the machine allows you
to brew two types of co ee, changing the brewing pressure at the  ip of a
lever.
You can increase the pressure for a perfect espresso or decrease it for a
delicate classic co ee.
Before brewing beverages as described below, the lever must be rotated to
the correct position.

Push the lever downwards to select the “ESPRESSO” function.
In this position, you can brew an espresso by pressing the “
” button,
a long espresso by pressing the “
” button or a cappuccino by press-
ing the “
” button.
Note:
If an espresso, a long espresso or a cappuccino is selected with the lever in
the wrong position these icons will be displayed, reminding you to set the
lever to the correct position within 30 seconds to complete brewing.
If the level is not rotated to the correct position within the speci ed time,
the machine will not brew the selected co ee.
