Recording a program
1 Make a program from the CD changer only
(refer to “CD Changer/Recorder Operations -
Programming the disc tracks”).
2 Press COMPILE CD.
➜ The arrow starts flashing and “REC PROG?“
is displayed.
3 Press YES to confirm.
➜ “AUTO FINAL?“ is displayed.
4 Press YES to finalize the CDR(W) after high
speed recording.
● If the CDR(W) is not to be finalized, press NO.
Note:
– If the program containing tracks from the CDC
and CDR, “4 DISC PROG” and “CLEAR
PROG
?
” will be displayed. Press NO to exit or YES
to clear the current program and prepare a new
program from the CD changer only.
Recording from the tuner
1 Tuning to a desired FM radio station (refer to
“Radio Reception - Tuning to radio stations”).
2 Press RECORD.
➜ “PREPARING” is displayed, followed by
“RECORD?”.
3 Press YES to start recording.
4 To stop recording, press Çon the system.
FINALIZE the recorded CDR(W) before use
for playback.
Further recording possibilities
1 Press CD1•2•3 to select the disc you wish to
record from.
2 Press RECORD.
3 Adjust JOG CONTROL (or pressí or ë
on the remote control) to select one of the
following recording modes :
for high speed recording :
“REC CD1 (or 2, 3) FAST?” : to record a disc
“REC TR FAST?” : to record a track
“PROG FAST?” : to record a program
for normal recording :
“RECORD CD1 (or 2, 3)?” : to record a disc
“REC TRACK?” : to record a track
“REC PROG?” : to record a program
4 Press YES to confirm.
➜ The arrow starts flashing and “PREPARING“
is displayed.
➜ The remaining and total recording time of the
CDR(W) are displayed.
● If you select to record a track, adjust
JOG CONTROL (or pressí or ë on the
remote control) to select the desired track.
➜ “REC TRX?” is displayed, “X“ denotes the
disc tray number.
5 Press YES to start recording.
● To stop recording, press Çon the system.
FINALIZE the recorded CDR(W) before use
for playback.
