1. Introduction to the manual
1.1 About the manual
AVM™2 (Automatic Vacuum Management) is a
control unit for vacuum ejectors. This manual is
specific for AVM™2 but it also shows the interfaces
to the ejector platforms in Piab’s product range
where AVM™2 may be used. For more detailed
information on the vacuum ejector, please see the
manuals for the respective ejectors
The manual is available for download at piab.com in
the 12 languages shown on page 2. The original
instructions are written in English.

must ensure that this manual will be read and
understood.

The section on safety should be studied extra
carefully.
•
The manual should be stored in a known and
easily accessible place, which can be digital.
•
Carefully study the applicable parts of the
manual before doing service and maintenance
on the equipment.

This manual, especially the section about safety,
shall be read by all staff who will perform any type of
work with or in the proximity of the product,

the area around it).
