gearboxes are based on the spur gearing principle modelled

bikes, Pinion shifting technology, paired with a rear hub motor,

PINION SMART.SHIFT
Pinion Smart.Shift technology refers to the electric shifting of
Pinion gearboxes on bikes. With Pinion Smart.Shift, we have
realised an optimal electrical control that further improves the
advantages of our gearbox shifting technology in the bike and
makes it possible to experience them in a new way.
Pedalling frequency-dependent shifting, as fast as the blink of
an eye, into the next gear. With START.SELECT, your bike
automatically shifts to your selected start gear when you stop.
Operation with the ergonomic E-Trigger TE1 ensures safety and
control in every situation. Just like the gearboxes themselves,
Smart.Shift is designed for an extraordinarily long service life
and minimal maintenance. It is fully integrated into the
communication of your e-bike and offers you all important
functions, live on the display.
