LEGAL INFORMATION
LIABILITY FOR MATERIAL DEFECTS
The statutory liability for material defects shall apply to
damage to materials and workmanship. The liability period
applies from the date of initial purchase. Components that are
subject to normal wear and tear (e.g. gear cable with outer
casing) are excluded from this. Damage caused by improper
handling, improper use or improper installation or maintenance
work (e.g. opening the gearbox, modifications, etc.) is also
excluded. Furthermore, we shall not be liable for indirect or
consequential damages resulting from the actions stated
above.
In the event of damage, first contact the dealer from whom you
purchased your Pinion product. If necessary, the dealer will
contact the relevant bicycle manufacturer, distributor or us
directly to discuss further action. Do not return a defective
Pinion product directly to us without prior agreement.
SOFTWARE LICENCES
Current licence conditions for software used in Pinion systems
are available on the Pinion website pinion.eu.
