Searching for a desired program by program type
(Program Type Search)
You can search for an FM broadcasts of a desired program type (PTY).
1. Select FM with the tuner (FM/AM) function
button.
2. Press the DISPLAY button until “RDS” is displayed.
3. Turn the SOUND MORPHING JOG dial until
“SEARCH” is indicated in the display to select the
PTY search mode.
4. Press the ENTER button.
5. Turn the SOUND MORPHING JOG dial to select
the desired program type (PTY), and then press
the ENTER button.
The search function begins from the next station after the currently
selected one, and broadcast stations conforming to the input
program type are automatically received. If more than one station
of the same program type is found, they are received one after the
other for five seconds each, starting with any presets. When the
station you want is received, press the DISPLAY button. Search
stops, and reception of that station continues.
NOTES:
@ When a broadcast of the selected program type cannot be found,
search continues until the DISPLAY/RDS (CLOCK ADJUST) button
is pressed.
e Alarm, TEST cannot be selected during PTY search.

Vous pouvez rechercher une émission FM d'un certain type (PTY).
1. Sélectionnez FM avec la touche de fonction tuner
(FM/AM).
2. Appuyez sur la touche DISPLAY de maniére que
‘indication “RDS” s’affiche.
3. Pour choisir le mode permettant la recherche
PTY, tournez le bouton rotatif SOUND MORPHING
JOG jusqu’a ce que Iindication “SEARCH” soit
affichée.
4.Appuyez sur la touche ENTER.
5. Tournez le bouton rotatif SOUND MORPHING
JOG pour choisir le type d’émission (PTY) que
vous désirez écouter puis appuyez sur la touche
ENTER.
Lafonction de recherche commence acherchera partir du programme
qui suit celui en cours etles stations conformes au type de programme
entré sont automatiquement recues. Si plusieurs stations
correspondent au méme type de programme, elles sont recues l'une -
aprés|'autre, chacune pendant 5 secondes, en commencantavecles
stations préréglées. Lorsque vous entendez la station que vous
voulez écouter, appuyez sur la touche DISPLAY. La recherche se
termine et vous pouvez continuer a écouter la station.
REMARQUES:
e@ S'il n'y a aucune station qui correspond au type de programme
sélectionné, la recherche continue jusqu'a ce que vous appuyez
sur la touche DISPLAY/RDS (CLOCK ADJUST).
@ Alarme, il est impossible de sélectionner TEST pendant une
recherche PTY.
