4. Select the disc to be recorded by pressing one
of the DISC select buttons (1 to 3).
5. Before starting the playback with the step (4),
press the STOP button (m).
When you want to record in a given order, program it in advance
({P. B5)),
lf a track number of the CD is selected using the
<4, <4 (—) OF (+) > 1, BP Hutton, the recording will start from
that track and continues on subsequent tracks. If no track is
selected here, the recording will start from track No. 1 of the
CD.
6. Press the ASES/COPY button.
The A.S.E.S. operation is started.
7. To stop A.S.E.S. in the midway ...
Press the STOP button (m) (or press stop button on the
remote control unit).
NOTES:
e@ When the recording order is programmed at the CD side during the
A.S.E.S. operation, the pieces of music are recorded in the
programmed order.
e@ Set the unit inthe REPEAT mode before carrying out the A.S.E.S.
recording. That is useful for recording the whole tape, without
wasteful leftovers.
e /fthe CDplayerhas been programmed, A.S.E.S. records the tracks
in the programmed order.
CAUTION:
When the CD changes to the next music or ends the playback at the
vicinity of the tape end when the A.S.E.S. function is ON, its operation
may be interrupted or it may not work correctly. In sucha case, record
without using the A.S.E.S. from that music on.

4. Sélectionnez le disque a partir duquel vous voulez
enregistrer en appuyant sur une touche de
sélection DISC (1 a 3).
5. Avant de commencer fa lecture a I'étape 4,
appuyez sur la touche STOP (m).
Si vous voulez enregistrer dans un certain ordre, programmez cet
ordre a l'avance ((P. a5).
Siun numéro de piste du CD a été sélectionné a l'aide de la touche
44, <4 (—-) Ou (+) >I, PP, |'eNregistrement commence 4 partir
de cette piste et continue par les pistes suivantes. Si aucune piste
n'est sélectionnée ici, l'enregistrement commence a la piste N° 1
du CD.
6. Appuyez sur la touche ASES/COPY.
L'opération A.S.E.S. commence.
7. Pour arréter A.S.E.S. en cours de route ...
Appuyez sur la touche STOP (m™) (ou appuyez sur la touche stop
=
de la télécommande).
REMARQUES:
e Lorsque I'ordre d'enregistrement a été programmé cété CD
pendant I'opération A.S.E.S., les morceaux de musique sont
enregistrées dans |l'ordre programme.
e Mettez l'appareil en mode REPEAT avant d'effectuer
l'enregistrement A.S.E.S. C'est une précaution utile, si vous
voulez enregistrer sur toute la cassette, sans gaspillage.
Sile lecteur de CD a été programmé, A.S.E.S. enregistre les pistes
dans I'ordre programmé.
ATTENTION:
Lorsque le CD passe au morceau de musique suivant ou termine la
lecture quand la cassette arrive au bout, avec la fonction A.S.E.S. mis
sur ON, cette opération pourrait 6tre interrompue ou ne pourrait pas
bien étre effectuée. Dans ce cas, enregistrez sans la fonction A.S.E.S.
a partir de ce morceau.
