Cartridges
Remove any impurities with a soft, lint-free cloth that has been dampened with cold tap water
Clean and disinfect with a disinfectant wipe, or with a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with disinfectant
Alternatively, the cartridges can be immersed in disinfectant
Approved disinfectants
• Dürr: ID 213, ID 212, ID 212 forte
Allow the cartridges to dry completely before using them
Do not thermally disinfect or steam sterilise the cartridges, as heat will damage them
Imaging plate storage box
Use a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with cold tap water to clean the surfaces of the box
Use a disinfectant wipe to disinfect the surfaces,
Alternatively, the image plate storage tray can be treated in a thermal disinfector or steam steriliser
Approved disinfectants
• For the storage box
o Dürr: FD 366 sensitive
• For the image plate storage tray
o Dürr: FD 350, FD 366 sensitive
If a thermal disinfector or steam steriliser is used, do not exceed the temperature of 134 °C (273 °F)
