ROCKER ARM/SHAFT INSPECTION, CONT.
7. Measure I.D. of each rocker arm and compare to
specifications.
8. Measure I.D. of both rocker arm shaft support areas
and visually inspect surface. Compare to
specifications.
9. Inspect rocker adjuster screws for wear, pitting, or
damage to threads of the adjuster or locknut.
Replace all worn or damaged parts. NOTE: The
end of the adjuster screw is hardened and cannot be
ground or re-faced.
