Test the Microphones
The diagnostic audio meters measure the strength of audio signals from 10 internal microphones, far-end
site audio, and any device connected to the line-in audio.
The meters display audio signals for each microphone and the line-in ports. The audio signals function
only when the associated input is connected.
Procedure
1. Select Diagnostics > Audio.
2. To test the microphones, speak aloud and verify that you see signals for the four vertical
microphones and six horizontal microphones.
If no signal indication appears for a specific microphone, manually power off the camera and then
power it back on.
Download Log Files
Download log files to assist in troubleshooting.
Procedure
1. In the web interface, select Diagnostics > Logs.
2. Select Download Logs.
3. Download the system log .tar file and specify a location on your computer to save the file.
