8. Do not plug in the filter pump at this point. Begin to fill water until the water
level reaches the fill line.
5. Connect the Hose 9 from the Suction Fitting 10 to the Filter Pump
Inlet.
6. Connect the Hose 9 from the pool Return Fitting to the Filter Pump
outlet.
7. Tighten all Hose Clamps 10 to prevent water leakage.
9. Air is now trapped inside the Filter Pump system, which will prevent the
water from flowing smoothly. To VENT the system (release the trapped
air), open the Vent Screw 12 at the top of the pump by turning it
counter-clockwise. The water pressure will force out all the trapped air
inside the Filter Pump system. Tighten the Vent Screw 12 when you see
water flowing out from the Seal Top 14 .
10. Adjust the Return Fitting Diverter 7 to maximize the circulation of the
pool water. It is recommended to point the diverter down and away
from the suction or water intake for optimum pool circulation.
