ANNEXE A. POWER CABINET OPERATION
8.1. Switch Operation of Power Cabinet
The next steps must be followed in order to power-on the power cabinet:
1. Moving the MV breaker from the test position to the working position by the rotating Rocker.
You can hear a “click” sound while the MV breaker is on the working position, after power up you
can find the “MV breaker in working position” lamp is ON.
2. Storing energy for MV breaker.
By the “Store energy for MV breaker “switch, you can turn ON and find the “Energy for MV
breaker stored” lamp is ON.
Note: The store of energy should be available immediately once the switch “Store energy for MV breaker” is
on.
3. MV breaker is closed.
Rotate the “MV breaker ON/OFF” from the “off” left position to the “pre-off” middle position to the
“pre-on” middle position and to the “On” right position. You can find the “MV breaker on” lamp is
ON.
The power-off process of the power cabinet is the following one:
1. MV breaker is opened.
Rotate the “MV breaker ON/OFF” from the “on” right position to the “pre-on” middle position and
to the “pre-off” middle position till the “off” left position. You can find the “MV breaker off” lamp is
ON and the “MV breaker on” lamp is OFF.
2. Moving the MV breaker from the working position to the test position by the rotating Rocker.
If you want to maintenance of the SS, you have to put the MV breaker on the test position to
ensure cut off the MV power.
8.2. Control Panel of Power Cabinet
See figure 8.1 to find out the components referred below.
Safety and Power Supply Status
That is only the indications to the L1, L2, L3 power supply and the power supply of door lock.
Protections Enable
The protection must be always enabled. Do not disconnect it. That is the motor protection.
Control of Power Cabinet Temperature
Parameters Setting of Temperature & Humidity Controller.
Normally, the temperature value is setting at 5°C and the humidity value is setting at 95. If the
measured temperature is lower than 5°C, then one heating resistance will be operated, if the
measured humidity is higher than 95, then another heating resistance will be operated.
Normally, the heating resistance is not operated.
