Secure the fasteners.
13. Tighten all mounting screws with the hex key (G) provided. Diagram 12.
Start at the front of the treadmill with the four screws that attach the upright
supports to the front panel. Tightening these screws first helps pull the rest of the
treadmill’s parts into alignment. Then, proceed with tightening the four screws (A)
that secure the upright supports and the four console assembly screws (C).

14. Tighten all the handrail mounting screws. Diagram 13. So that you don’t
overtighten the fasteners, hold the supplied hex key by its 3-inch section and
tighten all six handrail clamp screws. Next, tighten the two side bracket screws.
Because of inaccessibility, hold the 10-inch section of the hex key to tighten the
four lower handrail screws.
15. Lower the treadmill incline. Make the treadmill’s running bed level by returning
the incline to zero. To do this, you need to take the following steps:
a. Turn the unit ON.
b. Stand to the side of the unit and press Quick Start. If necessary, enter the
password: INCLINE , SPEED , SPEED . After a three-second count-
down the running belt begins moving.
c. Press the INCLINE key until the display indicates 0 percent.
d. When the ramp stops moving, press the STOP (red button) and turn OFF
the treadmill.
CAUTION: Do not overtighten the screws
or you may inadvertently cause stress
cracks.
Tighten the
