Unpacking the EFX
®

The EFX5.33 is carefully tested and inspected before shipment. Precor ships the unit
in several components, as listed below:
• base frame assembly • left and right handlebars
• upright support • display console assembly
• base frame stabilizers (left and right) • bracket cover
• owner’s manual and hardware kit
Optional Equipment

chest strap can be purchased by calling Retail Sales at 1-800-
786-8404 or visiting the Precor web site at www.precor.com.
Carefully unpack the pieces of the unit and lay them on the floor near the
location where you plan to use the EFX.
Acquiring the Appropriate Tools
Obtain the following tools
before
assembling the EFX.
Wire cutter – for cutting wire ties
Phillips head screwdriver
Two 9/16" combination wrench (open-end and crescent)
SAE Standard socket set with socket extension (for 1/2" and 9/16" bolts)
Rubber mallet
CAUTION: This unit weighs over 231
pounds (104 kilograms). To avoid injury
and to ensure the safety of the unit and
yourself, get adequate assistance before
unpacking your EFX

. Break down the
container’s side walls before removing
anything from the box.
