Safety Approval
When identified with the ETL-c logo, the unit has been tested and conforms to the
requirements of CAN/CSA-E-335-1/2-94, Safety of Household and Similar Electrical
Appliances.
Grounding Instructions
The EFX5.33 must be grounded. If it should malfunction or break down, grounding
provides a path of least resistance for electric current which reduces the risk of
electrical shock. The unit is equipped with a power cord having an equipment-
grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be inserted into an
appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local

120V Units Designated for U.S. Markets
The EFX5.33 is for use on a circuit with a nominal 120-volt rating. The unit’s ground-
ing plug looks like the plug illustrated in Diagram 2. The power outlet must have the
same configuration as the plug. No adapter should be used with this product.
