Installation Instructions
1. Lift the drive roller from the frame mounting brackets enough to install the belt onto
the drive roller pulley. Reinstall the drive roller into the frame left and right mounting
brackets.
2. Square the running belt on the running deck. drive roller, and take-up roller and ten-
sion the running belt to specification, see "Running Belt Tension and Tracking Adjust-
ment" on page 62.
DO NOT apply power or verify the running belt tracking at this step in the process, the
running belt tracking will be verified after the Drive Belt is installed.
IMPORTANT: It is necessary to tension the running belt prior to tensioning the
drive belt.
3. Install the drive belt onto the drive motor pulley (walk the belt onto the drive motor pul-
ley).
4. Make sure the drive belt is properly aligned by verifying that the drive belt is parallel to
the left frame rail. Measure the drive belt-to-frame rail distance at the drive roller pul-
ley and at the drive motor pulley. The drive belt is correctly aligned when the two
