How to Access the Lift Extension Tube & Jackscrew
Servicing the lift motor extension tube/jackscrew or lift platform assembly requires access-
ing the underside of the treadmill. There are two methods to choose from: 1) front access
(by raising and blocking the frame) or side access (by laying the treadmill on its side).
Review each method and use the method that best fits your particular circumstances.

Front access
This method accesses the lift platform assembly and connected hardware from the front of
the treadmill by raising and supporting the treadmill front frame weldment.
