Measure Resistance
Open Motor Error
Symptoms:
 The batteries are fully charged.
 All electrical components are connected correctly.
 The power turns on, but the LCD screen displays “Open Motor” (NE or NE+ joysticks) or a motor error (Q-Logic joystick). See table 1, 2, or 3.
 One or both motors will not operate.
Diagnosis:
There is a problem with the left motor, right motor, and/or the wiring between the motor(s) and the power module.
Solution:
Use the following procedure to find the source of the error:
Remove the rear shroud. Dis-
connect the power module
from the rear main frame (see
Appendix 2), then disconnect
the left motor harness from the
power module.

Are the motor brushes
physically damaged or
