Promac COMPACT PU - Advanced Programming Parameters; Pre-Infusion and Probe Sensitivity Settings; Fill-Up Time-Out and Water Filter Settings

This default parameter is set at 0, it is changed in the
case of machines with steam probe (TS) as it enables
use of key 6 (g. 7) on one of the pushbutton panels
for TS activation.
Possible setting parameters are:
0 Normal utilisation without TS
1 Utilisation key 6 (g. 7) of pushbutton panel of the
rst unit on the left
2 Utilisation key 6 (g.7) of pushbutton panel of the
second unit on the left
3 Utilisation key 6 (g.7) of pushbutton panel of the
third unit on the left

To activate and disable pre-infusion press A and B.
In the case of activation, press E to continue to pre-
infusion ON and OFF settings for every type of coffee,
press A and B to set the values.

To select level sensitivity press A and B.
This is set according to the content of mineral salts
in the water of the network utilised.
If the water utilised has a low salt content, set a high
level of sensitivity, if the salt content is high, the low
level of sensitivity will have to be set.
LOW sensitivity 150kW (low)
MID sensitivity 400KW (mid)
HIGH sensitivity 1MW (high)

Setting of boiler temperature is carried out by means
of a temperature probe.
By acting on keys A and B it is possible to set the
required temperature, which can range from 80 to
120 °C.

FillingUp T-Out

Press A and B to set the maximum time of continuous
pump operation. Should the pump be in operation
for longer than the time set, the machine will give a
warning signal.
N.B. Default time set is 120 secs. It is advisable not
to exceed this value as the pump could overheat.
Once the value has been set, press E to conrm and
continue to the next menu.

Press A and B to set softening lter litres, the eld
to be set is a value that can be selected between 0
÷ 5000 liter.
Press E to conrm and quit the technical program-
ming menu.
N.B. Once in the technical programming environment,
to quit press E and run along all the menus.
