4.2 Operating instructions
The PROMAX-25 has 5 independent operating modes:
1. SETUP MODE: The SETUP operation mode allows users to set the initial
configuration of the device, entering basic data into the system
such as the time, date or language. Also, it reports on the
battery charge condition and the firmware version installed.
2. CONFIG. MODE: The CONFIG operation mode allows users to set the basic
working parameters of the cable modem analyser: Active
channel plans, Signal level, CMAC Code, PING address,
registered or unregistered mode, etc.
3. LOGGER MODE: The LOGGER operation mode allows users to view and print
the various measurements made in ANALYSE mode and store
them for later checks, transfers to PC or printouts. Up to 100
loggers can be stored in memory, each with the measurements
associated to upstreams and downstreams.
