CHECKS FOR OPERATING SAFETY FUNCTION
Before initial operation as well as before any further use, it is necessary to conscien-
tiously carry out the following steps or checks:
• Adjust handlebar position and check the fastening.
• Adjust saddle position and check the fastening.
• Check the wheels/tyres for condition, fastening and tyre pressure.
Check/practise riding and steering behaviour.
• Check all screws, nuts and spokes for tight t and retighten as necessary
(see the Maintenance and Torque Specications chapter).
• Point out possible dangers to the child.
• Instruct the child on the proper use of the children's
training bicycle.
TYRES
The specied tyre size is embossed on the tyre. It is given in millimetres (ETRTO
standard) or in inches.
Maintain the minimum or maximum pressure embossed on the tyres.
Before each trip, carry out the checks described below and if necessary
adjustment work. Disregarding the above can result in damage to the
product or cause important components to fail! Danger of damage and
accident!
Make sure that the valve caps are always tightened. Also make sure that duri-
ng check or correct the tire pressure the valve caps are always kept away
from children, otherwise they might be swallowed. Risk of suocation!
The maximum pressure specied on the tyre may never be exceeded as
the hose would otherwise burst. Danger of damage and accident!
The tyres must always have sucient pressure! Insucient tyre pressure
can have a negative eect on the handling, especially in curves. In addition
to that the tyres could puncture and damage the rims. Furthermore, the
tyres will wear out much faster. Danger of damage and accident!
The handlebars and seat post may only be pulled out to the maximum
mark! The marking of the minimum insertion depth should not be seen!
Danger of damage and accident! - If disregarded, no warranty!
