Maintenance / Care • Anti-theft protection
GENERAL CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Clean the children's training bicycle at regular intervals (at least once a year) to pre-
vent damage and surface rust. Particularly after driving in the rain or through snow,
splashed water or salt water can cause rust to develop.
STORING THE CHILDREN'S TRAINING BICYCLE
If the children's training bicycle will not be used for a longer period of time, it can be
stored in a dry room without great temperature uctuations, as this could other-
wise have a negative impact on the chrome-plated and metal parts. Also ensure
that it is protected from external inuences. Hanging storage of the children's trai-
ning bicycle is recommended with regard to the tyres.
Clean and preserve the children's training bicycle before storing as described in the
Maintenance/Care chapter.
SPRING CHECK
After a longer immobilisation time, carry out the points described in the chapter Ini-
tial Operation/checks before beginning trips. Specically, check the tyre pressure as
well as the tight t of all screws and nuts.
ANTI-THEFT PROTECTION
In your own interests, always carry theft protection with you. Always lock the chil-
dren's training bicycle even if leave it unattended for only a moment. Only use safe-
ty-certied locks and safety devices. We recommend REX-BIKE locks.
