Battery exchange:

1. Unscrew 4 screws and remove the battery pack cover (Fig. 33a).

2. Disconnect the internal battery from the cables.

3. Place new battery into the pack, connect it with the cables – red cable with red marked connector and black

cable with black marked connector (Fig. 33b, c). Put back the cover.

15.1.2 EXTENDED TEMPERATURE RANGE BATTERY PACK

Extended temperature range battery pack (Fig. 34) is intended for operation within temperature range from -40 ºC to

+60 ºC. Operating time is up to 2 years (QY measurement every 1 hour). The pack includes battery case with non-

rechargeable Li-SOCl2 battery (5.5Ah), two types of cables (serial and device) and serial convertor.
