Storing Frequencies
Follow these steps to store frequencies into your scan-
ner’s channels.
1. Press
PGM
.
PGM
appears on the display to indicate
the scanner is in the programming mode.
2. Use the number keys to enter the channel number
(1-50) where you want to store the frequency, then
press
PGM
again. Or, repeatedly press
PGM
until the
desired channel number appears.
Notes:
• If you enter an invalid channel number,
Error
appears on the display. Simply repeat this step.
• If a frequency is currently stored in the selected
channel, the channel number does not flash but
the current frequency number appears on the dis-
play. You can either repeat this step to select a dif-
ferent channel, or replace the current frequency
with a new one.
3. Use the number keys and
./DLY
to enter the fre-
quency (including the decimal point) you want to
store in that channel.
