Youcanprogramtrunkingfrequenciesandconventionalfrequenciesintothesamebanktoutilizechannelspacebetterifyouhave
alotofchannelsand/ortrunkingsystems.Thatway,youdon’thavetowasteawholebankonatrunkingsystemthathasonly5
channels.Itypicallyputmytrunkingfrequenciesinstartingatthebeginningofthebanks(1,51,101,151,etc.)becauseyou’llrarely
havemorethan25ofthose(foreachtrunkingsystem)andthenfillupthebankswithconventionalfrequencies.Thiswillhelpyouto
utilizeyourbanksbetterforprogramming.
Ifyoulockoutthetrunkingfrequencies,youwon'thavetolistentotheannoyingcontrolchannelswhenyouscanthebanks.The
scannerwillstilltrunkthelockedoutfrequencieswhenyoutrunkthebanks.

buttontwicetoclearthedisplay.Todeleteafrequency,program0asthefrequency.

5.PressE(SVC)tostorethefrequencyintothechannel.
Note:Thescannerautomaticallyroundstheenterednumbertothenearestvalidfrequency.Forexample,ifyouenter
855.122(MHz),yourscanneracceptsitas855.125.
Note:Ifyouenteredaninvalidfrequency(notavalidtrunkingfrequency),Errorappearsandthescannerbeepsthree
