Oil Separator Filter
Replacement Instructions
• Needle-nose Pliers
• Zip Tie Gun (set at minimum tension)

Replacing the Oil Separator Filter
IMPORTANT: Turn off power & remove key.
Open the unit rear hatch to locate the old oil separator
filter on top of the engine (Fig. A).
Locate black hose strap and bend it up and away
hose (Fig. B).
Use needle-nose pliers to compress the hose
nearest to strap and pull filter from hose (Fig. C).
IMPORTANT: When disconnecting the hoses from
the filter, it is recommended that the hose clamp is
completely compressed and slid back approximately
1” (Fig. D). This will allow for easier separation.
Carefully pull under existing cables/wiring
disconnect the other end of the filter from the
hose
connected to the fuel pump (Fig. E).
Use needle-nose pliers to connect the top of the new
separator filter to the hose connected to the fuel
(Fig. G).
